In the scope of the 9th year anniversary of establishment of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have donated 22 fire trucks as grant aid to Mongolia. 

Cooperating with Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Ulaanbaatar, a meeting with Vietnamese citizens will be organized on June 21, 2013, initiated by Mongolian Immigration Agency, a Government's Implementing Agency. 

Within the implementing framework of the Government to decrease the air pollution in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, the second stage of the “Project to strengthen the air pollution surveillance capacity” is ready to be carried out. 

On June 19, 2013, the New Government for Changes has introduced and put into service the first 17 "Government Service e-Machines" in order to simplify and bring the Government services closer to its citizens. 

From June 13, 2013, "Tengeriin Ulaach" or "Sky Horse Aviation" company has started its regular passenger flights with route Ulaanbaatar - Baruun-Urt - Ulaanbaatar. 

A primary hearing regarding the ownership of the former V.I.Lenin Museum was held at Chingeltei District Court on June 12, 2013. The Primary Court issued its decision pointing out that the museum facility must be operated in accordance with its museum purpose not as a commercial building. 

At the invitation of the Minister for Justice of Mongolia Kh.Temuujin, the Secretary General of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) Ronald Kenneth Noble has arrived in Mongolia on June 12, 2013. 

Distinguished Professor of History at City University of New York, Adjunct Professor at Columbia University and Honorary Doctorate of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), Prof. Morris Rossabi, who is well-known for his study on history of China and further deepened in Khubilai Khaan era, is to give a lecture themed on "Yuan and Mongol Influences on the Ming Dynasty" to take place at the Facility No.1 of the NUM, Ulaanbaatar at 03:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.

A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of statistics between the National Statistical Office of Mongolia and Statistics Korea was signed by Commissioner of KOSTAT Mr. Park Hyung-soo and Vice Chairman of NSO Mongolia Mr. Baatar ERDENESUREN in Daejeon, Korea during the official visit of the NSO delegation to Statistics Korea on May 27, 2013. 

The Minister for Nature, Environment and Green Development of Mongolia Sanjaasuren OYUN is participating at the Global Green Growth Summit 2013, an annual event on the international aspects of green growth, which is ongoing in Inchon city of the Republic of Korea on June 10-11, 2013. 

On June 11, temporary rain with thunder and dust storms are expected in the northern part of western region followed by June 12 in central and in most parts of northern region of the country on June 13-14, where the wind speed will be reaching 12-14 m/sec. 

An opening ceremony for the 70-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus Bataar skeleton at the temporary museum on the Sukhbaatar’s Square in Ulaanbaatar was held on June 08, 2013. 

The World Environment Day (WED) has been celebrated and hosted by Mongolia for the first time, accordingly Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ts.Oyungerel and Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme Achim Steiner have organized a press conference for the WED at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 05, 2013. 

Mongolian Natural History Museum is closed from May 31, 2013 on the grounds that the Museum building is no longer available to exist based on conclusions issued by Specialized Inspection Agency of Ulaanbaatar City. 

The XXI irregular meeting of the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) was held at its affiliated Central Cultural Palace of Mongolian Trade Union on June 03, 2013, where 207 CMTU representatives from rural places and cities have attended to discuss the Union activity, its further tendencies and tasks to implement near future. 

On May 30, 2013, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul issued a Decree approving renewed working hours for public service providers, particular in the field of grocery shops, supermarkets, stores, cafeterias, restaurants, fast food chain stores, bars, night clubs, banks, pharmacies and gas stations. 

On June 04, rainfall is expected in the northern territory followed by June 05 and 06 in some regions and in most parts of the country on June 07, where the wind speed will be reaching occasionally 18-24 m/sec in Gobi regions on June 07, 2013. 

Every year on June 05, people across the globe celebrate the United Nations World Environment Day and Mongolia was accredited to host the World Environment Day 2013 by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Governing Council.

Mongolian Immigration Agency reported that 246 foreign nationals from five countries were deported from Mongolia on the basis of sufficient factual proof that used counterfeited or altered passports; failed to leave the country after residence permit duration ends;  failed to register at the Office (2 times a year); engaged in an activity that is different from the purpose of his/her entry; failed to leave the country on or before the expiry of the term of a visa; and were employed without permission from the competent authorities on May 31, 2013. 

On June 02, 2013 at around 10:00 pm, the 70-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus Bataar skeleton that has been delivered from United States to its homeland last month was brought from “Tuushin” company’s warehouse to the temporary museum being erected at the Sukhbaatar’s Square, Ulaanbaatar. 

The grand opening ceremony of Kentucky Fried Chicken chain restaurants or referred to as KFC restaurant, was held in Ulaanbaatar on May 29, 2013. 

According to the Intergovernmental Agreement established between Mongolia-Russia and Mongolia-China, all auto ports at the border will be closed on June 01, 2013 that marks Mongolia’s Mothers’ and Children’s Day celebration. 

According to the National Statistical Office, Mongolia's population is to reach 2.9 million people by the middle of July, 2013. As of May 30, 2013 by 08:09:10 am, the total population of Mongolia is estimated at 2,892,992 people, where the global population is 7,088,409,231 people.

The traditional 1,000 Children Festival organized by World Vision Mongolia NGO for its consecutive 6th year, will take place at the “Nairamdal” International Children’s Center on May 30, 2013.
