“Mongolia Expeditions and Tours” LLC, “Progetto Adventura Eventi” Italian company and Mongolian Travel and Tourism Association are jointly organizing the “Mongolia Bike Challenge-2011” mountain bike long and tough rage challenge that will be held from July 30 - August 13, 2011. 

The first race was organized in 2010 and it was a new provision to introduce Mongolia to the world’s bikers as well as to the international arena. The “Mongolia Bike Challenge-2011” will start from Dalanzadgad city, Umnugovi aimag (province) and finish at the square of Erdenezuu temple of Kharkhorin sum, Uvurkhangai aimar. The route is an estimated 1,200 km of roads through Umnugovi, Uvurkhangai, Bayankhongor, and Arkhangai aimags where 108 bikers will attend this challenge and the route expected will be extreme desert, mountain passes, unspoiled rivers and landscapes of rare beauty. The race is divided into nine starts and each start must be passed approximately 133 km. Registration will proceed until June 30, 2011. Currently, athletes from 11 of countries have registered from Mongolia, Australia, Italy, Kingdom of Spain, Federal Republic of Germany, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Austria, Czech Republic, Republic of Poland, United States of America and Kingdom of Belgium.
