Mongolian Traditional Naadam Festival
has started from today on July 10th with astonishing events of the horse racing competition as well as the impressive military parade for the glory of 2220th anniversary of Khunnu Empire, 805th anniversary of Great Mongol Empire, 100th anniversary of Mongolian Independence and 90th anniversary of People’s Revolution in Mongolia.
However the horse racing competition has begun early in the morning at 8:00, many people rushed towards to Khui Doloon Khudag (where the horse racing competition is held) notwithstanding today’s unstable and gloomy weather condition.
Elsewhere, the ceremonial and military parade
took place on Sukhbaatar square at 10:00 with regard to the Honorary Day for the National Flag of Mongolia with impressive and overwhelmingly grandiose demonstrations of the Mongolian soldiers equipped with great variety of composite army outfits including the shields, bows and arrows combined with the body armors which commonly used through the Great Mongol Empire army in ancient times up to the present full dress military uniforms. The Minister of Defense L.Bold made a ceremonial speech and expressed the respect for the glory of Mongolia during the parade in which involved in 2,000 cavalry and land force soldiers as well as armored and panther military equipment. The spectacular attraction of the event is the Memorable Wave of the National Flag
of Mongolia under the National Anthem at the central square of Ulaanbaatar.
Most notably, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj, Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold and the government officials have conducted the Flower Offering Ceremony for the Sukhbaatar (Commander General during the People’s Revolution) Statue and the Chinggis Khaan Statue
with great honor and respect.
