The Minister for Health of Mongolia and MP S.Lambaa received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Mongolia Peng Intarat in the Ministry of Health on September 15th in regard to his accomplishment of the official appointment to Mongolia. 

The officials have discussed the implementation process of the issues which were solved by the intergovernmental meeting between the two countries in Vientiane city in November 2010; at the same time, the discussion focused on the social welfare system and current workplace conditions of the Mongolian doctors working for the Mongolia-Lao PDR Friendship Hospital in the Sinhuane region, Laos. During the meeting, the Ambassador Peng Intarat expressed the deepest gratitude on behalf of the Lao PDR for the intergovernmental cooperation development and Mongolia’s grant aid worth 300 million MNT with medical equipment for the reconstruction of the Friendship Hospital and put forward a proposal to settle a Memorandum of Cooperation for further development opportunities between the Ministries of Health of Lao PDR and Mongolia. 

The Minister for Health S.Lambaa has also expressed great appreciation for his noticeable contribution to the development of the health sectors and wished a very prosperous future at the end of the meeting respectively.
