The inauguration ceremony of the “Mongolian National Wrestling in the Guinness Record Book” Today, September 17th the opening ceremony of the "Mongolian National Wrestling in the Guinness Record Book" wrestling competition was held at the Central Stadium of Ulaanbaatar.
 
This is the biggest event in Mongolian Traditional wrestling history and also the first ever in the world history where 6,002 national wrestlers involved in one single competition which will take part for nine days straight. The ceremony was opened by the Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold and Head of the Mongolian National Wrestling Association R.Nyamdorj accordingly. At this Guinness Record Book event will compete Mongolian wrestlers starting from Army Falcon (Title given to the third-place winner in the National Military wrestling contest) and including wrestlers up to with the highest state title of the national wrestling like Grand Giants. The Grand Giant and Hero of Labor B.Bat-Erdene who won the State Naadam Festival 12 times (the most numbers of winning in national wrestling history) and among people named as the Grand Giant conquered the great period. Currently, B.Bat-Erdene is a member of the State Great Khural who was elected twice. On behalf of our site, we glad to share with our valuable customers the photos taken just couple hours before.
 
In Mongolian national wrestling the title like Falcon, Elephant, Garuda, Lion, or Grand Giant earned by the wrestler remains for his life time, even after he stops wrestling.
