Global Dignity Day was initiated by the Crown Prince of Norway Haakon Magnus in 2006; since then, the day is celebrated annually on October 20th all around the world.
Mongolia has begun to celebrate Global Dignity Day since 2009 and this year’s day will be organized by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Mongolian Economic Forum and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia. Therefore, the lectures on the theme “What is the Dignity”, “Preference of Dignity” and “How to Live with Dignity” and several other competitions of making speech, essay writing
and drawing will be held at all secondary schools, colleges and universities in order to provide broad knowledge about Dignity to the young generation of Mongolia in regard to Global Dignity Day.
The mission of the Dignity Project is to implement globally the universal right of every human being to lead a dignified life. This is a paradigm shift in thinking about our global challenges, a new language
and a mindset to approach issues of poverty, peace and progress.
