Mongolian athletes successfully attended the Beijing Marathon 2011The Beijing International Marathon is the largest and most popular marathon which has been held in October in Beijing, the People's Republic of China since 1981. The Beijing International Marathon is the Olympic berth qualifying competition and over 10 thousand runners have participated in this year’s marathon accordingly. 
The Mongolian marathon runners have participated with stunning success and the International Master of Sports L.Otgonbayar won the Gold medal as well as the Mongolian marathon runner E.Battsetseg won the Silver medal in the women’s half-marathon race category.
In the men’s marathon race category, the runners from Kenya have won the first three places of gold, silver and bronze medals and the Mongolian runner B.Ser-Od was placed sixth by the rates of 14min 39 sec and confirmed his Olympic berth for the London 2012 Olympic Games. 
The first eight places of the Beijing International Marathon 2011 includes the six marathon runners from Kenya, one marathon runner from Ethiopia and one marathon runner from Mongolia respectively.
