The Incentive Policy for Reducing the Air Pollution in Mongolia
The Cabinet meeting of the Government of Mongolia held on November 2, 2011 and the following issues were taken into account accordingly. 
The Government regulation “Improving the Air Quality in Ulaanbaatar city and Ensuring the Electricity Rate Incentives to the Households of the Regions” was approved by the Cabinet meeting; henceforth, the night electricity tariff shall be reduced by 50% to the households of the ger districts of Ulaanbaatar city which comply with the following requirements such as using the smokeless stoves, living in a well insulated ger, and not burning raw coals etc. 
Elsewhere, the Incentive Policy Regulation for the individuals and the private entities (which involved in business activities for saving the energy and reducing the air pollution) was also approved through the meeting and the required volume of incentives shall be withdrawn from the Clean Air Fund of Mongolia.
