Mongolia to transfer into digital technology by 2014
According to the World Radio-communication Conference's resolution the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and World Radiocommunication Assembly received the duty to transfer all radio and TV programs worldwide into digit technology by 2015.  
The Government of Mongolia approved the “National Program to transfer the Radio and Television programs into digit technology” by the 275th resolution in 2010 and the broadcasting programs will be transferred into digit technology by July 31, 2014.
In the framework of the national program the “Digital Broadcasting Programs” Forum was held in the Chinggis Khaan Hotel on November 22-23, 2011. In the Forum the Information Communication Technology and Post Authority, Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and representatives from 80 organizations and over 130 representatives who own special licenses regarding TV and radio communications attended. Also, many foreign representatives attended, delivered speeches and shared their experiences.
