Advertising United Fair 2011 is ongoing
On November 29th and 30th, the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia together with the "Mongol Marketer" NGO, is organizing the first "Advertising United Fair 2011" in Mongolia at the "Misheel Expo" Center, for media organizations and entrepreneurs. 
The purpose of this event lies in giving information on the development and tendency of the Mongolian business market, the types of effective advertising, and promoting media organizations, giving valid information about them. Also, “Today’s advertising tendency” conference is being held during this fair. 
At the conference, the Deputy Chief of the Information, Communications, Technology and Post Authority (ICTPA) A.Munkhbat, CRC Deputy Chief O.Battogtokh, Chief of the research team at the Mongolian Press Institution G.Gunjidmaa, Executive Director of the “New Media Marketing Agency” T.Tuguldur and the Marketing Director of the “Goyot Media” Group, Board member of the Mongol Marketer NGO B.Amarsaikhan made presentations on interesting topics of “Current and future tendencies of media press”, “Are the media and press ready to transfer to the digital era?”, “Advanced media marketing”, “One entrance - many exits” and “Working together with the press and media”. 
Around 130 newspapers and TV broadcasters, over 100 magazines and about 70 radio stations are currently running in Mongolia. The most watched TV channels in Ulaanbaatar city are MNTV and UBS and the most watched TV channels in the rural areas are MNTV and TV9, according to the report by the Press Institute. The most active newspapers in Ulaanbaatar and rural areas are “Unuudur” (Today), “Udriin Medee” (Daily News), “Zuuny Medee” (Century’s News) and “Undesnii Shuudan” (National Post). 
However, regarding the rapid increase number of websites and internet users which are over numbering the newspapers, and now panicking the TV stations, also discussions were held on ways to affect the advertising sector.
