The issue on implementing "Apartments for 100 thousand households" project has been discussed through the regular cabinet meeting on November 30, 2011.  

The lists of apartments, towns, sub districts which are to be constructed in the first stage in the capital city and other aimags have been approved as a supplement paper. Within the framework of the project it is planned that 75 thousand housing units in Ulaanbaatar city and 25 thousand housing units in other big cities and in aimags’ centers are going to be built respectively. 

The branch Ministers and Governors of aimags and city will be in charge of making contracts with investors and entities to construct buildings, towns and districts. At the same time, the branch Ministers will be responsible for revealing those banks and financial organizations, which had granted mortgage loans with less interest rate and long terms to the investors, entities and citizens who had been involved in the whole process of constructing the buildings, towns and districts and planning its infrastructure and provide tax deductions to them as well as exempt from paying tax. And also, the products, imported materials and equipment, which are all to be utilized for the whole process of constructing the housing units, will be exempt from customs' duties, and the whole work should be introduced by the Ministers to the Cabinet within the first month of 2012.
