The air pollution fee from transport facilities and Vehicle Excise Duty collection has started nationwide.

According to the transport facility and vehicle tax legislation, civilians are to pay their vehicle taxes once a year to the Tax Office of their resident sum and district before June 01. 

Individuals are required to have their ID, vehicle and tax payer’s certificate, vehicle certificate, and for entities and organizations are required to have their vehicle certificate, tax payer’s certificate, comprehensive list of vehicles, a copy of the state registry certificate, and bills of tax and fee payments for service at their resident Emission centers. 

Vehicles registered in Ulaanbaatar city are welcome to address Emission centers at auto stations of Bayanzurkh district, the yard of “Khusug Trade” LLC at Bayangol district and behind “Bus 2” company in Songinokhairkhan district. The taxation and fees will be collected in Ulaanbaatar city starting January 01 to May 31, 2012 between 08:00am-12:00pm and 01:00pm-06:00pm. 

Servants of the Traffic Police Department, Tax Office of Ulaanbaatar and the Ulaanbaatar city Bank are to monitor and control whether the drivers have paid the Vehicle Excise Duties through June 04-18, 2012.
