A proposal on tax free exportP.Bayanmunkh, Deputy Minister for Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia held a meeting with Hiroko Nakano, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan in Tokyo on April 10, 2012, where two parts have exchanged opinions on mutual cooperation of the two countries in the fields of the relevant sector. 
During the meeting the Deputy Minister P.Bayanmunkh expressed his appreciation to the Government and citizens of Japan who have been continuously showing assistance to Mongolia in hard times and voiced his interest in not only for assistance addressing Japan but also further developing the mutually beneficial relations of the countries based upon the renewable sources of the Mongolian animal husbandry and agriculture and technical, technological advances and know-how of Japan. 
Within the frames of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) to be signed between Mongolia and Japan the following specific proposals were submitted to the Japanese side and have been discussed during the meeting: to create an opportunity for tax free export on food, agriculture and light industry products such as meat, seabuckthorn, rock salt, wool, cashmere, knitted goods and construction insulation material made out of sheep wool and to implement projects directed to promote family businesses and farmers with poorer financial possibilities. 
In the scope of the visit, the Deputy Minister for Food, Agriculture and Light Industry P.Bayanmunkh will meet with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan and the Chiefs of the Japan agricultural cooperatives to hold talks and negotiations on broadening the partnership of the countries. Moreover the Deputy Minister will visit the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) and to exchange experiences.
