Two Mongolian racers for the first time are to race in the world famous Dakar Rally to be organized in South America on January 05-20, 2013.
During the “2013 Dakar Rally” introduction event held in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China on May 08, 2012 the international rank Masters of Motor Racing Sports Damdinkhorloo BOLDBAATAR and Namchin LKHAMAA have met with the organizers of the rally and submitted their request to participate in the 2013 rally, where the organizers have accepted their request gratefully and expressed that they would assist Mongolian racers with any possible assistance from their side. D.Boldbaatar and N.Lkhamaa will compete in the bike race of the rally.
Last year, 465 competitors from 50 countries participated in the rally: car category - 171, bikes - 185, quads - 33 and trucks - 76 competitiors. The rally was broadcasted in 190 countries across the globe.
2013 Dakar is the fifth adventure in the South American continent, compared with the previous game, next year’s Dakar Rally will be in Dakar for the first time in history from the first day of the dune stage of the tournament. The event would be held across the three countries of Peru, Argentina, Chile, from Lima, Peru, across the length of over 8,000 kilometers and arrive in the Chilean capital of Santiago.
