D.Sumiya received the 29th Olympic berth
Only 67 days are left until the London 2012 Summer Olympics kicks off. A project named "Team Mongolia" has been launched in order to support the Mongolian team in the Olympics and to cumulatively organize the Mongolian fans. 
The official signature ceremony to establish the partnership agreement between project “Team Mongolia” and the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) was held at the “Olympic House” on May 17, 2012. The President of the MNOC D.Zagdsuren and the project coordinator of “Team Mongolia” B.Bayasgalan have participated in this ceremony. With the establishment of this agreement, project “Team Mongolia” is to cooperate with the MNOC on all levels, is to use the national symbols and is to run specials projects to show support financially and morally for the Mongolian team.
Also, on May 09, 2012, the International Judo Federation has announced the names of all judo wrestlers who have received their Olympic berths. As for Mongolia, except for the direct Olympic berths in 8 weight categories, Mongolian judokas were to receive one more berth from the Asian Judo Federation. This berth was given to the 57kg weight category wrestler, International Master of Sports D.Sumiya. She has collected a total of 350 points from Olympic berth qualifying tournaments and had been ranked 27th in her weight category. She received the main points from the European series tournaments held during the past winter. 
Mongolia aimed to receive at least 30 berths for the upcoming Summer Games and as of May 16, 29 berths have been achieved so far.
