The third Mongolian man on the roof of the world
Glorious news that a third Mongolian man has successfully mounted the roof of the world, is spreading across the globe. The International rank Master of Sports Sereeter BAT-ERDENE who left Mongolia on April 08, 2012 made it to the Mt. Everest peak on May 19, 2012 together with his team.
This information was delivered by a Sherpa team from the “Everest North Cole International Expedition 2012" expedition on a phone call to “Mongolia Expeditions” LLC who is in charge of foreign relations and the logistics of his trip.
Accordingly S.Bat-Erdene together with 7 other mountaineers from Canada, Spain and Nepal who all belong to “Everest North Cole International Expedition 2012" had started their climb from the Tibetan side. The exact time of hitting the top is not certain yet and the mountaineers are on their way back down. As known by Friday (May 18) they were preparing to make their last attempt to conquer the Mt. The Head of the Mountaineering Federation of Erdenet city and an International Master of Sports S.Bat-Erdene has climbed all Mongolian glaciated mountains and the highest peak of Europe, the Mt. Elbrus and Mt. Fuji in Japan in 2010 respectively.
