Congratulation Letter sent to S.V.Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation
On May 22, 2012, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar sent a congratulation letter to the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation S.V.Lavrov, who has been re-appointed to the current position on May 21, 2012.
The Minister G.Zandanshatar voiced his delight on expansion and broadening of Mongolia-Russia friendly conventional neighbor relations
and mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed his hope that the sides will further intensively collaborate in expanding strategic partnership of the two countries. In conclusion, the Minister wished health and happiness to S.V.Lavrov and much success to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Also on the same day in connection with the approval of the draft legislation on Regulation of the Foreign Investments in the Strategically Significant Industries, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade G.Zandanshatar and other affiliated senior officials from the Ministry hosted a conference dedicated to the foreign diplomatic representatives in Ulaanbaatar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on May 22, 2012. The conference was aimed at informing the foreign diplomatic representations about the new law and at hearing their comments. Foreign Ambassadors residing in Mongolia, temporary and permanent representatives and diplomat officers of the Foreign Embassies in Mongolia
who are in charge of trade and economic matters have attended the conference, informed Press and Media Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia.
- Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov has been serving as the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation since 2004 and his nominations to the Foreign Minister office were approved two times (in 2008 by D.A.Medvedev and in 2012 by V.V.Putin).
