The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia B.Batkhishig received the Senior Development Analyst of China, North East Asia Program of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Michael Aleword on May 24, 2012.

During the meeting the Senior Development Analyst Michael Aleword extensively introduced the course of the preparatory actions for the long term project to sustain civil service reform to be implemented jointly by the CIDA and the Civil Service Council of Mongolia.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs B.Batkhishig noted the expansion of the Mongolia-Canada partnership and proposed to carry out scholarship programs through CIDA that are directed for preparing experts in the spheres of mining, agricultural engineering, biotechnology and other specialized occupations. The Canadian side accepted the proposal and expressed their will to cooperate in the field.
