The Deputy Prime Minister got familiarized with the National Naadam preparatory works
On June 12, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Naadam Festival 2012, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhbold was introduced with the Festival preparatory works and some works that are challenged with being most difficult.
With the close coming of the festival, the preparatory works are in its midst. The main challenge of the preparations for the festival is the road construction works, particularly the main road through the west direction of Ulaanbaatar city that goes towards the location where the horse races will take place.
Also, M.Enkhbold was familiarized with other road and bridge construction works’ process within Ulaanbaatar city. The “Terguun Saruul Zam” LLC was chosen to be the executor of the construction of the 16.7 meter long bridge in the West Naran area of Ulaanbaatar city. The construction work has started on April 04, 2012. According to the information provided by the executor of the construction work, they were scheduling to make the bridge operational by July 10, 2012.
Meanwhile, the road construction and repair works are being performed by “Berkh Zaraa” LLC. The work progress was deemed to be not yet satisfactory and the process was slow, thus the Deputy Prime Minister imposed duties to take all possible measures including hiring additional executors and enforcing the labor force with more manpower in order to speed up the work process, so that the traffic flow would be decreased and as much as high convenience to civilians during the Naadam festival celebration.
In the end, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Naadam Festival 2012, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhbold laid duties to conclude the construction work of the main road through the west direction of Ulaanbaatar city by July 08 and the bridge construction work by July 05, 2012 accordingly.
