The 9th World University Archery Championship is scheduled to be held at the Monte Cronos University campus, Cordoba city, Spain on July 04-07, 2012. 

The Mongolian team to participate in the championship comprises of the coaches J.Narantuya and T.Tsogtbayar, female archers as the Masters of Sports B.Azzaya and A.Enkhtuya and Candidate for Master of Sports G.Odmaa and male archers as the Candidates for Master of Sports B.Munkhtogtokh and B.Narmandakh and Master of Sports J.Munkhtulga. The team is conducting their preparation training at the Songino resort and will head to Cordova on July 01, 2012. 

The 10th World University Archery Championship will be hosted in Louvain-La-Neuve, Kingdom of Belgium in 2014, where the 11th World University Archery Championship will be hosted in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in 2016. The Championship takes place every two years in even-numbered years.
Additionally, the team from Mongolia including male and female athletes went to attend the Archery World Cup Stage 3 that took place in Ogden city, US which was the last chance to Qualify for 2012 Summer Games. Unfortunately, the Mongolian team could not qualify any additional berths, thus the National Team of Mongolia is to participate in the upcoming London Olympics with 29 berths so far.
