Mongolians living in Sweden to celebrate the Naadam on July 07, 2012
The Embassy of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden, the National Union of Mongolians in Sweden and the Union of Mongolians in Sweden have started their preparation works to organize the Naadam celebration for Mongolians living and working in Sweden at the Akalla By Park, Stockholm, Sweden, on July 07, 2012. 
Events and activities such as a concert of folk arts, wrestling match, Shagai or ankle bone shooting, children’s competitions, men’s and women’s tug-of-war competitions and “Best Mongolian Dressed” competition will be held at the “Stockholm 2012” Naadam festival of Mongolians residing in Sweden, which is dedicated to the 806th Anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 91st Anniversary of People’s Revolution. Also, Mongolian traditional Buuz (steamed dumpling) and Khuushuur (fried dumpling) stands will be serving other Mongolian food as well. A public dance party will be organized at the end of the festival.
