On June 30, the General Election Commission of Mongolia (GEC) introduced the complete preliminary results of the Parliamentary Elections at 12:00 pm.

According to the preliminary results, 46 mandates (out of 48) by Majority system of 26 Electoral Districts were named, whereas 21 candidates from the Democratic Party (DP), 18 candidates from the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP), 4 candidates from the Justice Coalition (MPRP and MNDP), and 3 mandates were won by independent candidates. In the 22nd (Bayanzurkh, Nalaikh) and the 26th (Songinokhairkhan) electoral districts of Ulaanbaatar city, two candidates*, who were listed third, could not pass the 28% threshold, thus due to the Law of Election, the third mandates of these districts are to be exclusively voted once again. At this voting, candidates that were elected on the 3rd and 4th** places will be involved.

With the Party List by Proportional system (28 mandates), Democratic Party gained 399,194 votes - 35.32%, Mongolian People’s Party 353,830 votes - 31.31%, Justice Coalition 252,077 votes - 22.31%, Civil Will Green Party 62,310 votes - 5.51%, Third Party Coalition 16,653 votes - 1.47%, Green Party 15,076 votes - 1.33%, Motherland Party 9,082 votes - 0.8%, Mongolian Traditional United Party 6,516 votes - 0.58%, Civil Movement Party 6,312 votes - 0.56%, United Party of Patriots 3,348 votes - 0.3%, Mongolian Social Democratic Party 2,041 votes - 0.18%, Development Program Party 1,980 votes - 0.18% and Freedom Implementing Party gained 1,664 votes or 0.15% respectively.

4 parties, including DP (35.32%), MPP (31.31%), Justice Coalition (22.31%) and CWGP (5.51%), have overcome the 5% threshold. The votes received by other parties below the 5% threshold will be distributed equally to above 4 parties.
