Visit of Busan delegations to advance further cooperation with Bayanzurkh District
At the invitation of the Bayanzurkh District Governor B.Batzorig, the delegations of Seo-gu district of Busan city (formerly spelled Pusan), South Korea, have made a visit during the
Naadam celebration of Mongolia.
The delegations headed by the Deputy Administrator of Seo-gu District Won Jon-oh had visited Bayanzurkh District on a duration of 3 days and have familiarized with the up building and development works of
Bayanzurkh. The districts of Bayanzurkh and Seo-gu have engaged in relations and cooperation since 2005. Within this framework, a street named after Seo-gu was built in 2005, which stretches 1.8 km from the “Tuul Jin Pan” roundabout to the “Zuun Ail” bridge, along with pedestrian walks and street light re-installations.
Also, the practice of Seo-gu District has started its implementation in Bayanzurkh District since 2010, where the “Love of One Heart” campaign has been successfully held for the 2nd consecutive year. With this campaign they have provided aid to over 300 citizens of the vulnerable group. During the visit, the two parts have exchanged thoughts on advancing their future cooperation, in the sectors of society, urban development and education, onto a new level.
Seo-gu district of Busan city
Seo-gu is located at the southern end of 16 districts of Busan Metropolitan City. With the existing urban district that was established from 1930, the area within Seo-gu jurisdiction is mostly comprised of lowlands and highlands.
Song-do Coastal Improvement Project that brings back the old reputation of Song-do beach resort, which is the smallest beach in Busan, and the Chunmasan Sculpture Park and Cultural Flower Village that have laid the foundation of an evergreen environment-friendly cultural art city are the new pride of Seo-gu.
