The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from Mongolia to the Arab Republic of Egypt Banzragch ODONJIL has paid a visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Mohamed Amr on July 16, 2012, where B.Odonjil handed a letter of his credential and has officially started his term as the Ambassador from Mongolia to the Arab Republic of Egypt. 
Mongolia and the Arab Republic of Egypt Bilateral Relations 
Mongolia and the Arab Republic of Egypt established diplomatic relations on April 02, 1963.
In November 1957, prior to the establishment of diplomatic relations, Secretary of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly of Egypt visited Mongolia, which was followed by a visit of Egyptian Deputy Minister of Commerce later that year. During that visit the two sides signed an inter-governmental agreement on trade and settlement.
In April 2004, Mongolian President N.Bagabandi paid an official visit to Egypt, where he met with President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak. The two leaders discussed problems in Palestine and Iraq, and also discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations. Later in the visit, the two countries signed an executive protocol for cultural cooperation and agreements on air services, economic cooperation and investments protection.
In April 2005, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit visited Mongolia, during which he began the planning of mutual visits of the Ministers of Finance of the two countries.
In October 2008, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the Commonwealth visited Ulaanbaatar, where he met with ministers and discussed enhanced cooperation between Egypt and Mongolia.

On July 11, 2012, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from Mongolia to Ottawa, Canada Tuvdendorj ZALAA-UUL has worked in the city of Toronto, where he handed the consul’s stamp and patent to David Tsubouchi, who has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and has officially started his term. During the opening ceremony of the General Consulate of Mongolia in Toronto, Ontario, the Ambassador T.Zalaa-Uul noted the main task of the General Consulate to be the protection of the rights and interests of all Mongolian citizens living and studying in the Province of Ontario and their provision of legal assistance, and further expressed to work to show comprehensive support in fulfilling his duty.
 
Mongolia and Canada Bilateral Relations
Mongolia and Canada established diplomatic relations on November 30, 1973. Mongolia first opened its General Consulate in Toronto in 1998. The Embassy in Ottawa was officially inaugurated December, 2001.
Currently Mongolia has Honorary Consuls in four provinces of Canada (Calgary, AB, Regina, SK, Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON).
Canada appointed its Honorary Consul in Ulaanbaatar in December 01, 1997. In April, 2004 Canada announced to open its Trade Mission in Ulaanbaatar. The first Resident Ambassador to Mongolia assumed her duty in Ulaanbaatar in 2008.
