The President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Benedicto V. Yujuico is to pay his first ever visit to Mongolia on August 01-05, 2012.
The President will be accompanied with business delegations from Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Philippines and Pakistan. Within the scope of the visit a business meeting will be held at the Meeting Hall of the Mongolian National Chamber of
Commerce and
Industry (MNCCI) on August 02, 2012. Foreign companies who run their activities in the sphere of information technology, real state, clothing, resort, wholesale and retail trade, oil and gas industry control, testing and examination laboratory service, wheat flour trade, mining, machinery and vehicle parts and particles, freight forwarding and art piece trading will participate in the meeting.
CACCI was established in 1966, CACCI unites national chambers of commerce and industry of 27 countries, works to link businessmen and promote economic growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region. It is a member of the Conference on NGOs (CoNGO), an association of NGOs with UN consultative status. The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) joined the CACCI in 2002, now holds a Primary Member Status. As of today
Mongolian companies and enterprisers as MCS Holding, MongolRosTsvetMet state owned shareholding company, TBD Anduud LLC, Shunkhlai Group LLC and Tuushin LLC holds a Lifetime Special Member status and Taij Group LLC holds CACCI Regular and Lifetime Special Member status accordingly.
Benedicto Yujuico
The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) elected a new President in the person of Ambassador Benedicto Yujuico from the Philippines in 2010.
President B.Yujuico took over the helm of the Confederation following his election by members of the CACCI Council, the governing body, during the 77th CACCI Council Meeting held on July 05, 2010 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He replaced Mr. Harvey Chang from Taiwan, who served as CACCI President for two consecutive terms from 2006 to 2010.
Before assuming his new position, B.Yujuico served as Executive Vice President of CACCI. It was in that capacity that he actively assisted Mr. Harvey Chang in undertaking CACCI-related activities, joining Mr. Chang in his various Presidential visits to member countries and representing CACCI in a number of regional and international events.
