On July 23, 2012, the Minister for Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar and the Deputy Minister for Israel Foreign Affairs Daniel Ayalon have signed on the Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the State of Israel on the bilateral cooperation in the fields of
education.
“Israel and Mongolia are similar with its small populations comparatively to its big lands. We are delighted that with the establishment of the intergovernmental agreement opportunities to collaborate with Mongolia in the spheres of agriculture, energy and science and technology sectors are opening up for our country”, noted the
Deputy Minister for Israel Foreign Affairs Daniel Ayalon.
In response, “The agreement enables possibilities to support and sustain partnership of all level educational organizations of the two countries, to exchange teachers, educators and researchers. Besides, with the enactment of the agreement the sides will mutually accept primary, secondary and higher education academic ranking and certifications and exchange information on education programs for children with impairment and on increasing their social participation. It is also of a great significance in boosting Mongol studies in Israel and Israel studies in Mongolia by teaching the
Mongolian and Hebrew languages”, said the Minister for Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar.
