On July 24, 2012, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Austria J.Enkhsaikhan has met with the Acting Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, Ms. Rose Gottemoeller at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria. 

The two parties have exchanged thoughts on the enlistment of Mongolia into the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and related issues on Mongolia’s implementation of the Vienna document on settling measures to consolidate mutual trust and security.
Also, the Mongolian side made a request to accelerate the negotiations between the five nuclear states on the issue of Mongolian Nuclear-Weapons-Free Status, reported the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia.
