The U.S. tour of the Mongolian Merit Actor, Leader of "Chinggis Khaan" rock band and singer D.Jargalsaikhan is ongoing. On July 07, 2012, D.Jargalsaikhan had participated in the Naadam Festival of Mongolians in Chicago, and also has held a concert together with Merit Actor G.Erdenebat in Chicago as well on July 21, 2012. 

Now, D.Jargalsaikhan is preparing for his next concert named “I’m different than you”, dedicated to Mongolians residing in Oakland, CA. This concert is to be held at the “Mongol Bar” in Oakland, CA, on July 29, 2012, where the tickets will cost 40 USD. On this evening, D.Jargalsaikhan will perform his songs from 08:00 pm until 02:00 am in the morning. 

The “God father of Mongolian Rock Music” D.Jargalsaikhan was born in Ulaanbaatar city on September 25, 1959, who graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. 

D.Jargalsaikhan had previously performed in “Bayan Mongol” ensemble and “Soyol Erdene” band, where he formed his “Chinggis Khaan” rock band in 1989. He was awarded Frontier Cultural Servant in 1991 and Mongolian Merit Actor in 1998. He also was awarded with “Golden Tribute of Chinggis” in 1990, Best Male Rock-Pop Singer of Mongolia award from the Pentatonic Music Festival in December 1997, the top award of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee the “Golden Ochir” medal in 2000, “Loyal to his commitment” nomination award from “Golden Microphone” frontier music festival of Mongolia on March 25, 2012, and “Living Legend” nomination award from “Golden Microphone” festival of Mongolia on May 31, 2012.

In 2000, marking the start of the new millennium, D.Jargalsaikhan and his “Chinggis Khaan” rock band made a world tour named “Chinggis Khaan-World Tour 2000” with their “20th Century” concert. Also in 2006, marking the 800th Anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, “Chinggis Khaan" made a tour around Asia named “Chinggis Khaan-Asian Tour 2006”.
