On July 30, 2012, the Merit Athlete of Mongolia Nyambayar TUGSTSOGT competed in the men’s 52 kg boxing category, where he was matched against the boxer from Azerbaijan Elvin Mamishzada and has held a victory by 18:11 pts (4-5, 7-3, 7-3). His next match will be held on August 03, 2012, against the Beijing Olympics Bronze medalist, 2007 World Championship Bronze medalist, 2007 European Championship two time Bronze medalist, boxer from Italy Picardi Vincenzo.

The first time in history of Mongolian shooting sports, the International Master of Sports Nyantai BAYARAA represented his country in the men’s 10 m air rifle category, where he was ranked in 23rd place. He received 593 pts (100, 96, 99, 100, 98, 100) in the preliminary rounds and was ranked 23rd out of 47 athletes, thus was not selected into the next round. As for N.Bayaraa, he will be competing in two more shooting categories. He will compete in the men’s 50m rifle prone category on August 03, 2012, and will then compete in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions category on August 06, 2012. 

July 31, 2012, the 2008 Beijing Olympics Silver medalist, World Champion, Mongolian Hero of Labor, Merit Athlete P.Serdamba was to compete in the men’s 49 kg boxing category, however, his draw was to be automatically transferred to the next round. In the second round on August 04, 2012, P.Serdamba will be matched against the winner from the match between Devendro Singh Laishram from India and Bayron Molina Figueroa from Honduras. Today, the Merit Athlete of Mongolia, boxer U.Munkh-Erdene will compete in the men’s 64 kg boxing category. He will be matched against Znadek Chladek from the Czech Republic. A.Tamir who is participating in the swimming category will be competing in the men’s 100 m freestyle category at 05:00 pm by Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8).

July 31, 2012, the International Master of Sports J.Gantugs, who was ranked 19th in the preliminary round of men’s individual archery category, will compete against Rahul Banerjee from India.
