The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP) group in the Parliament D.Erdenebat and the member of the Parliament S.Demberel received the delegation from the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) headed by its President
Benedicto V.Yujuico on August 01, 2012.
CACCI consolidates 27 national chambers of commerce and industry, business associations and business enterprises in Asia and the Western Pacific and carries out activities in increasing regional business interaction and enhancing regional economic growth. The delegations team to Mongolia consists of 35 representations from countries of Malaysia, Philippines, India, Hong Kong, Nepal and Pakistan.
Chairman D.Erdenebat introduced the manifesto and action plan of the DP who received the majority seats in the Parliament following the
2012 Parliamentary Elections, that cites to maintain economic growth, to attach high priority in developing small and medium scale enterprises and to establish the Ministry of Labor, adding that in the past few years Mongolia is paying more attention towards its mining sector, thus they would try to sustain small and medium scale businesses that have mushroomed in compliance with the mining industry and to keep the state participation as low as possible.
Furthermore,
D.Erdenebat mentioned that besides economic sector nongovernmental organizations’ and civilian participation it is essential in Mongolia’s further development and said that the Mongolian Government works in close relations with the Mongolian National Chamber of
Commerce and
Industry.
Delegations are investigating opportunities to collaborate with Mongolia in the fields of mining, construction and infrastructure spheres. The CACCI team will work in Mongolia from July 31 till August 05, 2012.
