Mongolian judokas who have twice hoisted the Mongolian flag in the London Olympics have landed in their homeland this morning at 06:00 am on August 06, 2012.
Officials from the Physical Education and Sports Authority and the Mongolian Judo Association, media representations, sports fans and their beloved dearest family members have gathered to warmly welcome the athletes of the Mongolian National Judo Team headed by the State Hero of Labor, Merit Athlete
N.Tuvshinbayar who has grabbed a Silver medal in the Men’s -100 kg event and International Master of Sports
S.Nyam-Ochir who has achieved a Bronze medal in the Men’s 73 kg event at the “London-2012” XXX Summer Olympic Games.
The Beijing 2008 Olympic Gold medalist, London 2012 Olympic Silver medalist N.Tuvshinbayar was greeted by his father T.Naidan, mother D.Tsend-Ayush, wife B.Oyunbileg and his two boys, whereas the Bronze medalist S.Nyam-Ochir was welcomed by his father R.Sainjargal and mother G.Pagma. The parents were greeting with a blue Khadag, a bowl with milk and bouquet of flowers.
The President of the Mongolian Judo Association, member of the Parliament Kh.Battulga had previously announced that he would grant one billion MNT to an Olympic Champion, 500 million MNT to a Silver medalist and 300 million MNT to a Bronze medalist. Hence today, he said that he would keep his word and present the monetary award to N.Tusvhinbayar and S.Nyam-Ochir respectively.
