Mongolian athletes have headed for the XV Paralympics
The XXX London Olympics has come to an end and the XV Paralympics are soon to start. The Paralympics will start on August 29 and will continue for 10 days, where athletes will compete in 21 sport categories. 
Around 4,200 athletes of 165 countries will compete for 503 sets of medals.
Mongolia is sending its 6 athletes to the London Paralympics in 4 sport categories. Their farewell ceremony was held at the Physical Education and Sports Authority this morning, August 15. During the farewell ceremony the lamas of the Gandantegchinlen Monastery praised the “Khiimooriin San” wishing good luck to the athletes and the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhbold handed them the State Flag of Mongolia, which will be raised in the skies of London.
The Mongolian Paralympics athletes have completed their trainings and are to head to London tomorrow. They are to train in Surrey, England for 14 days prior to the start of the Paralympics. The Mongolian judoka A.Munkhbat will raise the Mongolian flag in the opening ceremony.
