South Korea, Taiwan and Iran made their first victories
The 2012 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship opening ceremony took place yesterday on August 16, 2012, where today the first round matches were held. 
The first round matches have started simultaneously at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace and Central Sports Palace today at 10:00 am on August 17 and the scores have been drawn accordingly. 
Group B matches took place at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace. First match was between Singapore and Syria, where Syria won by 47:78 and the second match of the Group B was South Korea VS Japan, where South Korea made its first victory by 91:69. 
Group C matches were held at the Central Sports Palace. In the first round of Group C Taiwan beat Indonesia by 99:44.
From Group D Kazakhstan lost the match to Iran by 105:46. Yet 2 matches of 4 teams will be conducted at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace today in the evening.
At 08:00 pm Mongolia will play against Bahrain at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace.

08:00 pm Group C: Bahrain VS Mongolia
