The Judo Grand Prix, Miami 2013 organized by USA Judo Operational Offices took place in the United State on June 15-16, 2013, where 288 judokas from 37 countries have competed in both 7 weight classes for Men (165) and Women (123) categories.

Takushoku University of Japan announced that the 69th Yokozuna of Japanese Grand Sumo - Hakuho Sho, M.Davaajargal becomes a Visiting Academic Professor of the University and authorities conveyed the Certificate on June 11, 2013.

On June 02, 2013, the International Draughts World Championship began in Ufa, the Russian Federation, where Head of the World Draughts Federation Harry Otten welcomed the best 40 sportsmen from 24 countries at the opening ceremony, who are participating in this prestigious World Draughts Championship. 

At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Green Development, a runner from Kenya, Patrick Makau Musyoki, who holds the world record in the marathon (2:03:38), was invited to compete in the fourth International Ulaanbaatar Marathon held on June 02, 2013.

On May 29, 2013, the Japan Sumo Association held its regular meeting following the May Tournament (Natsu Basho) and during the panel meeting it was announced new promoters to Juryo Division (second highest division) from its lower Division of Makushita to compete in the next Tournament (Nagoya Basho) to take place in Nagoya, Japan on July 07-21, 2013. 

Every year on June 01, Mongolia celebrates Mothers' and Children's Day and this year the Day coincides with World Environment Day (June 01-05), accordingly the Mayor Office of Ulaanbaatar announced to celebrate the Day under "My Family and the Green World" theme.  Besides, all public transportations will serve as free of charge for children under the ages of 16 on Saturday, June 01. 

The Eugene Torre Chess Foundation affiliated the National Chess Federation of the Philippines, on behalf of the Asian Chess Federation and FIDE, has organized the Manny Pacquiao Cup Asian Continental Chess Championships 2013 for Open, Women’s and Blitz categories in Pasay City, Metro Manila on May 18-26, 2013. 

The finest world judokas listed in the top 16 in each weight category according to the world ranking list have been invited to compete in the World Judo Masters held in Tyumen city of the Russian Federation on May 25-26, 2013. 

On May 26, 2013, the Natsu Basho or Summer Tournament of the Japanese Grand Sumo was concluded in Tokyo, following the 15th Day of the Tournament, Yokozuna Hakuho (M.Davaajargal) won the Makuuchi Division with perfect records of 15-0. 

In the scope of the 50th anniversary of establishment of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia that marks this year, many events are being organized.

On May 23, 2013, the world famous Backstreet Boys group, who is celebrating its 20th anniversary touring worldwide throughout this year, was scheduled to perform in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

The Mongolian National Fencing Team is to participate in the 2013 Asian Fencing Championships co-organized by Fencing Confederation of Asia to take place in Shanghai, China on June 04-09, 2013. 

The first Mongolian woman who reached the peak of the Mt. Everest in 2011, the State Merit Athlete of Mongolia Badamgarav GANGAAMAA is preparing to conquer the K2 Mountain, which is the second-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest. 

The Third Mongolian Students Sports Festival - "III Universiade 2013" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mongolian Students Sports Federation and Mongolian Students Union has been concluded and an official closing ceremony was held on May 20, 2013. 

The Natsu Basho or Summer Tournament of the Japanese Grand Sumo is ongoing in Tokyo, following the 9th Day of the Tournament only Yokozuna Hakuho (M.Davaajargal) and Ozeki Kisenosato (Yutaka Hagiwara) are leading the Makuuchi Division with perfect records of 9-0. 

Mongolian National Basketball Team has competed in "B" Group of the 3rd East Asia Championship, the qualifying tournament for the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship that is ongoing in Incheon Metropolitan City of South Korea on May 16-21, 2013.
