The first Consultative Meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Serbia was held on February 26, 2013 in Ulaanbaatar, successfully. 

Digital Policy Council ranked world leaders by their Twitter followers in the World Leader Rankings on Twitter 2012. The President of the United States of America Barak Obama, led the ranking this year. 

The Prime Minister's cabinet meeting was held on February 23, 2013 and reached the following decisions. 

The regular meeting of the representatives of Mongolian Permanent Offices in the People's Republic of China (PRC) at Consul-level was held in Hohhot (Khukh Khot), the capital city of Inner Mongolia, Autonomous Region of the PRC on February 19-20, 2013. 

Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Gunaajav BATJARGAL, who succeeded Ambassador Jargalsaikhan ENKHSAIKHAN, handed over his credentials to OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier on February 20, 2013. 

February 19, 2013, according to the National Telegraph Agency of the Republic of Belarus (BELTA), Prime Minister of Mongolia Norov ALTANKHUYAG invited Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich to visit Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

On February 19, 2013, several senior members of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) delivered a request letter to their Head of MPP Ulziisaikhan ENKHTUVSHIN appealing to unite the MPP and MPRP (Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party) as one political force. 

Mongolian Military delegation led by its Minister for Defense of Mongolia Dashdemberel BAT-ERDENE is making an official visit to Moscow on February 17-21, 2013. Minister D.Bat-Erdene, who had accompanied the President Ts.Elbegdorj to visit Mongolian peacekeepers in the Republic of South Sudan, is continuing his visit to the Russian Federation in recent days. 

On February 15, 2013, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia Tsakhia ELBEGDORJ arrived in Juba International Airport of South Sudan, and became the first Asian leader to visit his country's peacekeeping troops in the Republic of South Sudan, since the youngest nation gained its independence in 2011.

On February 14, 2013, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia Tsakhia ELBEGDORJ left for South Sudan to visit and get familiarized with the current situation of Mongolian soldiers, who are serving in the frames of UN mandated peacekeeping missions. 

On February 13, 2013, the Deputy Speakers of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Sangajav BAYARTSOGT and Log TSOG, Minister for Justice, Parliamentarian Khishigdemberel TEMUUJIN, Chairman of Legal Standing Committee of the Parliament Sharavdorj TUVDENDORJ, and Parliamentarian Dashdondog GANBAT have left to conduct an official visit to the United States of America. 

The Government of Mongolia released an official statement regarding the third nuclear test conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. The statement says,  

On February 11, 2013 at 08:00 am, on the first day of the first spring month or "Shiniin Negen" on the threshold of the XVII Jaran (sexagenarian cycle) Mongolian Traditional Tsagaan Sar, namely "Tiin Yalguusan" (The Victorious) Water Snake Year, the President of Mongolia Tsakhia ELBEGDORJ showed his respect by bowing to the State Nine White Banners placed in the Government House. 

Head of the Government of Mongolia as a tradition annually receives officials from Diplomatic Offices in Mongolia to greet prior to the national holiday Tsagaan Sar, or New Year by lunar calendar. 

Mongolia, as the current Presidency of the Community of Democracies, will hold the VII Ministerial Conference of the Community in its capital Ulaanbaatar on April 27-29, 2013 and complete its tenure of the Chairmanship. The Presidency next goes to the Republic of El Salvador. 

Today on February 07, at 02:45pm Minister for Mining D.Gankhuyag opened an official statement regarding the Oyu Tolgoi LLC shareholders’ meeting that started yesterday, where Minister for Economic Development N.Batbayar, Minister for Finance Ch.Ulaan, and Minister for Nature, Environment and Green Development S.Oyun were present and gave brief summary respectively.
