This year, the law on reducing air pollution in Ulaanbaatar city was approved by the Government of Mongolia.
The 6th Conference of Japan-Mongol Environmental Policy Dialogue is currently being held in Dalanzadgad city of Umnugovi aimag, Mongolia between September 13 and September 15, 2011 through the scope of ongoing environmental cooperation on world climate changes of dust and sand storms, mining restoration of environment, feasibility study of natural resources, eco-tourism and future bilateral environmental policy dialogue towards respective environmental policies and challenges of Japan and Mongolia.
