The 13th Mongolian Nation Wide Sports Festival will be held through 27 sports competition types with four stages for six months during the first half of the coming 2012 in accordance with the 32nd resolution of the Government of Mongolia in 2011, which focuses on developing active involvement of population in sports fields and increasing the skills and achievements of talented sportsmen to the world sports arena. The opening ceremony of the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen city of China was opened by the Paramount Leader of People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao on August 12. The summer games is held every two years for university students. 13,500 athletes from 21 countries are competing in 21 sports in the Games which will run till August 23, 2011. The Mongolian team consists of 157 athletes participating in 13 sports, and weightlifting and swimming athletes have started competing on August 14.
