The First Assembly of "Mongolian National Basketball Union" was held in the Government House on December 20, 2012. In the frames of the event, were discussed many issues on how to flourish the sport in Mongolia, where athletes and coaches of different generations and Union members have gathered to share their experiences. 

On December 19, the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking was released, where Spain led in top position with 1,606 points earning the “Team of the Year” title, followed by Germany (1,437), Argentina (1,290), Italy (1,164), Colombia (1,164) and England with 1,151 pts.
